At TabPilates, we are committed to diversity, accessibility, and representation. We believe that Pilates is for every body, regardless of background, experience, or ability. Our goal is to ensure that everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered in their movement journey.
We honor the fundamentals of Pilates, following Joseph Pilates' original philosophies, while integrating modern approaches to enhance effectiveness and accessibility.
Tab’s journey in Pilates began with a personal mission—to create the space she wished existed when she first started. As a Black woman in the industry, she didn’t see a lot of people who looked like her, and she recognized the need for a more inclusive, welcoming Pilates community. Instead of waiting for that space to appear, she built it herself.
At TabPilates, we believe Pilates is more than just movement—it’s a tool for transformation. We are committed to helping diverse body types move better in their bodies for everyday life.
Our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their Pilates practice, whether as instructors or dedicated students. Through expert training, hands-on experience, and a supportive community, we guide each person toward their full potential.

For Tabatha, Pilates is more than exercise—it's education, empowerment, and a lifelong practice.
tabPILATES is not just a studio. It's a standard.
At TabPilates, we stay true to the foundational principles Joseph Pilates developed—because they’re the heart of everything we do.
Pilates isn’t just about movement; it’s about connection—between your mind, body, and breath. That’s why we focus on:
✔ Breath – The foundation of every movement, helping you stay in control and move with precision.
✔ Concentration – Being fully present so every movement is intentional and effective.
✔ Control – Mastering each exercise to build strength and prevent injury.
✔ Centering – Engaging your core—the powerhouse of movement.
✔ Precision – Quality over quantity for results that last.
✔ Flow – Moving with grace and fluidity, making every transition seamless.
By embracing these principles, every client and instructor builds a deep, transformative connection with Pilates.
More than just a studio, this is a space where learning feels engaging, supportive, and empowering. Pilates is more than a workout—it’s a practice of strength, control, and mind-body connection.
